Inspired by a True Adoption Story
Whose Am I? is a beautifully illustrated bilingual book that shares real experiences about adoption, redemption, and the search for our true identity in Christ, while providing opportunities to ask questions and engage in conversations that are often difficult for families to address.
In Whose Am I? you will meet two characters whose lives are intertwined because of a strong bond formed by their adoption stories: Darly, a pre-teen girl with a thousand questions and feelings surrounding her story, and Jackie, her mentor and good friend, who has a beautiful and powerful testimony to share with her. Throughout their interaction you will learn that Jackie was abandoned in a dump, where miraculously a missionary nurse found her and took her to an orphanage, which was contacted by a foreign couple wishing to adopt.
Support Group for Families with Adopted and Foster Children.
A safe space where a community of people who have gone through, are going through, or will go through similar situations related to the adoption and foster care process is created.
Support Group for Adopted Individuals.

The Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO) unites more than 250 respected organizations and a global network of churches in shared initiatives to grow and guide effective responses for the world’s most vulnerable children, from foster care and adoption to family strengthening and care for vulnerable children worldwide. Our vision is to see the people of God overflowing with the love of God, so that every child will experience God’s unfailing love in a thriving family.
CAFO began at a gathering of 38 Christian leaders in 2004. Although serving in diverse fields, they carried a shared sense that God desired to call His people to step up decisively for orphans and vulnerable children. They pledged to “leave logos and egos at the door” to advance this vision in shared action. Read more about the history.
